We’re noting some best picks so picking up your gateway to virtual reality will be a more enjoyable experience in actual reality.
Eagle Flight
Closely satisfying the long-term dreams of some individuals, Eagle Flight puts you in the skies and arms you with a pair of wings and deadly talons. Long after humanity has served it’s duty on Earth, eagles roam the barren wastelands of a world once thriving with people. Fly through broken windows of majestic cathedrals and get a literal bird’s-eye-view utop the Eiffel Tower in Paris. As a title from Ubisoft, it’s one of the better experiences for the Vive available now.

Elite: Dangerous
Take a full recreation of the entire Milky Way Galaxy, put yourself in the cockpit of a small spaceship, and explore the galaxy at your own pace. Elite: Dangerous is a fantastic space simulation game that is best experienced in VR with game menus that pop up by simply looking in their general direction. Combine mining, space warfare, trading, and galactic tensions amongst warring factions for one unforgettable experience. Highly recommended for the first steps into virtual reality.

Arizona Sunshine
There’s no sunshine in this game as the zombies slowly approach you. Thankfully, you’ve got trusty guns to eradicate the undead as they slowly encroach on your position. Arguably the best zombie game available for VR, Arizona Sunshine has received wonderful reviews across the board for it’s design and fun. It even won Best VR Game of 2016 from Upload VR. Please indulge in the best in zombie shooting.

Obduction
The yin to the “guns blazin'” yang, Obduction is a new game from the developers of Myst that focuses on exploration and puzzle design. The player is placed on a mysterious planet with no hints as to how they got there or why they’re there. It’s a mind-bender of a game, and one of our favorites. In fact, we might just have to play some of it in the office after 6 PM…

The Assembly
The Assembly is not a game for the faint of heart. It’s a game that questions the morality of the player and reveals what a person would do given difficult moral dilemmas. It’s also a fantastic puzzler that forces you to think about character motives and what “pressing the proverbial button” does. You assume the roles of two Assembly members, a new “recruit” to the Assembly, and a long-term veteran that investigates shady operations within the Assembly group. Short lived, but an interesting game nonetheless.
The Assembly is a game about moral dilemmas.
